Uber, the popular ride-hailing company, has made several commitments to combat racial injustice and promote diversity within its organization. The company pledged to donate a total of $1 million to the Equal Justice Initiative and the Center for Policing Equity, two organizations that work towards racial equality.
Uber does not discriminate based on race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual’s status in any group or class protected by applicable laws. Uber encourages applications from minorities, women, the disabled, protected veterans, and all other qualified applicants.
